    A Simple Walk

What is my all time favorite automobile? I don’t know. I’ve always been favorable towards Cadillac CTS. This is sort of a silly question. It’s very shallow. It doesn’t get the thinking juices flowing. Now, all I can think about are luxury sedans. I think I may have spoken about this before, but I think too much stress is placed on people to have an automobile. By default, our mode of transportation is walking. Yet, anywhere you go in the US the cities are designed around vehicles. It’s so frustrating trying to use the default mode of transportation in most…

    All Sorts

I’m thinking about this at 5 in the morning, so you’ll have to forgive me for any incoherence. And I did put an effort into thinking about this. And I think that if I had to pinpoint the biggest influence in my life, my first inclination was to look at other people. However, upon deeper contemplation, I came to the realization that I am the biggest influence in my life. I spend the most time with myself. I’m in constant conversation with myself. I think that I am more me to myself, than I am to other people. Does that…

    1987

Oh man, I don’t know much about it. I didn’t know that knowing about the year you were born is a thing. I guess this is an opportunity to learn. The Berlin Wall speech happened on June 12th. That was when Reagan said, “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!” That was a pivotal moment for the world. Black Monday happened on October 19th. That was when the market took a dip. And finally, there is Baby Jessica. I spoke about her in a previous blog post. She is the baby that fell down a well and had to be saved.…

    Kintsugi Consciousness

I was watching a video about consciousness and the guest in it said (and I hope I get this paraphrased correctly), that we’re all a neurotic because otherwise we would be in a dissociative state. Now, it’s probably important to note that when the guest brings this up, I don’t think he’s using these terms in the clinical sense. I think that he’s using them in the metaphorical or philosophical sense. Like, if we didn’t have the concerns and worries of ordinary life to tie us down, we could go into a reminiscent dissociative state. I think it’s an interesting…

    Bad Apples & Macrame

No. Not one bit. Horrible at it. Ask the people who care about me. My most recent ex-boyfriend is the perfect example of that. What a mess of a relationship that was. And what a mess it left my life. Is being a good judge of character something that one can develop? Don’t get me wrong, I can spot a sleazeball from a mile away. It’s those people who pretend to be good people to your face and turn around and demonstrate otherwise. My ex was a lot like that. I also think that I’m too trusting, so some of…

    Blog Navigation Overhaul

I’m excited to announce a significant update to the navigation of my blog! Following a theme update a few months ago, it became clear that my previous menu structure was too large and cumbersome, leading to challenges in usability. In response, I’ve streamlined the menu to make navigation more intuitive and user-friendly. Here’s what’s new: I believe these changes will enhance your experience and make it easier to explore the blog. I’d love to hear your feedback—check out the new navigation and let me know what you think!

    Art & Video Games

I just got done playing some Diablo IV. I will be playing more tonight with a friend. So, I decided to take a break and write a blog post. Aside from video games, I haven’t been doing very much in my free time. I’ve been trying to spend more time focused on work. It has been interesting. I’m working on this project, I can’t go into the details but it’s very involved. There are a lot of instructions and each task takes a while. For example, I did one today that took over 2 hours. It seems like when I…

    Infinity Nikki… New obsession?

I just downloaded this really pretty game on the PS5. It’s called Infinity Nikki. It’s not my typical genre of games. Lately, I’ve been playing a lot of Diablo IV. Infinity Nikki is definitely a change of pace. As you can see, it’s not at all like Diablo IV or my favorite game, Overwatch. For that reason, I was not expecting to be impressed. However, the little bit of gaming I’ve done so far, I think I might give this game an honest try. There are several reasons. Obviously, the graphics are excellent! The views of the scenes are stunning.…
