Alien Encounters

I wanted to write another blog post today because my daily prompt post was so short. However, it’s midnight and I can’t think of anything to write. Probably because I haven’t tried to sleep yet. Usually, when I write my midnight post, it’s because I thought of something while trying to sleep.

I guess this will be another short post unless I come up with something to discuss. I could talk about the book I recently read, UFO of GOD. I finished it last night. Or maybe that was the night before? I think I spoke about it in a recent blog post, but I’ve been thinking about it a lot over the past day and I’m unsure whether to believe what he says. One part of me wants to believe it’s all true because it would mean there’s a higher intelligence out there.

This is going to be a spoiler, so spoiler alert! There’s one part in the book where he reveals a date in the future (roughly 2 years) in which there’s going to be turmoil on the planet and we have to prepare for it. That part, I don’t want to believe. But, like I told my friend, it seems like everyone can feel something big is about to happen. Just, nobody knows what. I watched tonight’s premiere of The Why Files on YouTube and the host, AJ said the same thing.

The next book I’m reading is “American Cosmic” which is about UFOs, Religion, and Technology. I’m on a UFO & Religion kick. This one is by Diana Walsh Pasulka, a professor of religious studies. I’ve seen her interviewed on a lot of podcasts, and she has some very interesting points that she makes about UFO encounters and how they become almost religious-like experiences for those who have them. She’s even mentioned in the book UFO of GOD.

Either way, I believe that aliens exist. Whether they’re from another planet or us from the future visiting ourselves, I’m not sure. I just wish I would have a more pronounced experience than I already have. My experience of aliens was a few years ago. It was at night of course, and I was standing outside of my sister’s house at the end of the driveway. We were talking about the night sky, I believe. We were looking up and saw these stars moving around in the sky, but they weren’t moving in straight, predictable trajectories. Instead, they were sort of zig-zagging around.

I suppose if I want to see more, I’m going to have to get off of the computer and go outside periodically, huh? Anyway, if you’ve ever had an encounter or experience of UFOs or Aliens, feel free to leave a comment and share with me! I would love to hear it!
