Systemic Goverment Stupidity

Another wonderful day in the life of Justin.

When I was having that episode about people going through my mail, and because I didn’t know when or where I would have a more permanent address, I put my mail on hold. Well, today I had time to pick it up. So, I went to the post office and I put a change of address in. In order to pick up the mail, I had to go to two other post offices, the 2nd one has the mail directed through the 3rd one. The guy at the 3rd one was pretty nice, he had a cool lanyard with pentacles on it. He told me that when they put the mail on hold, it holds the entire address’s mail. That is something the original attendant at the USPS PO neglected to tell me.

Because they had put my cousin’s mail on hold, I had to drop it off at his mailbox. He’s probably still sleeping, so I will call him this afternoon to tell him. I feel so stupid. I know it wasn’t entirely my fault and that day was a shitshow to begin with. However, I should have just put the change of address in then. I wasn’t thinking clearly. At least I fixed it now, and hopefully going forward I won’t make the same mistake. I’m in a much better place mentally. However, it’s still embarrassing to have to go to him and tell him the mail was being held. I’m hoping he’ll be understanding, as he usually is. However, I think there was a bill in there. I don’t know for sure, but the envelope looked like a bill envelope. I’m praying I haven’t caused him more trouble. I appreciated him letting me stay there, so I would hate for there to be even more trouble caused by me. D=

I took a couple of pictures. One of them was a stamp for PTSD healing. The other was a really pretty wreath advertising the White House. Here, take a look:

You should be able to click them to enlarge them. Anyways, I would say more but I’m going to go play Fortnite with my nephew.

Take care!
